In accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Act (WPPA), LEV INS Insurance Company JSC has established an internal reporting channel for violations.
This channel is managed in a manner that ensures the completeness, integrity, and confidentiality of the information submitted, and prevents unauthorized access.
Reports may be submitted regarding violations specified in Article 3 of the WPPA by individuals falling within the categories outlined in Article 5 of the same Act.
The confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity, as well as any third party mentioned in the report, is strictly protected. Disclosure of the whistleblower’s identity or any information that could directly or indirectly reveal it is permitted only when required and proportionate under Bulgarian or EU law, particularly in the context of investigations by national authorities or judicial proceedings, including for the purpose of safeguarding the rights of the affected party. In such cases, the whistleblower will be notified in writing with justification, unless such notification would compromise the investigation or legal process.
Reports may be submitted to the designated responsible persons at LEV INS Insurance Company JSC through the following methods:
In writing by post to: 67A Simeonovsko Shose Blvd., Sofia;

In writing via an authorized representative with a notarized power of attorney attached to the report;
In writing or orally through a personal meeting, upon request by the whistleblower;
Orally by telephone at: +359 2 4049 536.
Written reports must include at minimum: the full name, address, and telephone number of the whistleblower, and email address if available; the name and workplace of the person against whom the report is filed (if known); specific details of the violation or imminent risk thereof, including location and time period, description of the act or circumstances, and any other relevant information known to the whistleblower; date of submission; and signature, electronic signature, or other identification of the whistleblower.
Reports may be submitted using the official form approved by the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP), available on its website, or in free format. When using the CPDP form, only Sections I through V should be completed.
If a written report contains irregularities, the whistleblower will be notified to correct them within 7 days of receipt. If the irregularities are not resolved within this period, the report and its attachments will be returned.
Supporting materials may be attached to the report, including references to documents or individuals who can confirm or provide additional information.
The whistleblower will receive confirmation of receipt within 7 days.
Reports that fall outside the scope of the WPPA or lack credible content will not be reviewed. Reports containing clearly false or misleading factual claims will be returned with instructions for correction and a reminder of the legal responsibility for false accusations.
Anonymous reports and those concerning violations that occurred more than two years prior will not be processed.
Access to personal data contained in reports is restricted to authorized employees of LEV INS Insurance Company JSC, in accordance with the “need-to-know” principle and their functional responsibilities or assigned tasks.
Reports are processed in compliance with confidentiality obligations under Articles 31 and 32 of the WPPA. Personal data that is clearly irrelevant to the report will not be collected, and if collected inadvertently, will be deleted.
Protection under the WPPA is granted to the whistleblower from the moment the report is submitted, provided the conditions under Article 6 of the Act are met.
