MARIN DIMITROV IS THE NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF LEV INS

Marin Dimitrov, who joined the largest insurance company in Bulgaria in 2020, has held the position of Executive Director of ZK Lev Ins Ins, since March 2022. His main priorities are in the field of digitalization and cybersecurity, in which he has an extremely rich experience and competencies.

Marin Dimitrov, who joined the largest insurance company in Bulgaria in 2020, has held the position of Executive Director of ZK  Lev Ins Ins since March 2022. His main priorities are in the field of digitalization and cybersecurity, in which he has an extremely rich experience and competencies. 

Dimitrov holds a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia and Insurance and Social Affairs from the University of National and World Economy. He has international security experience and specializations in Germany in portfolio management, risk assessment, secure pricing and business project management. He entered the insurance industry in 1998, and since 2001. manages various directorates such as: "Technical Directorate", "Methodology and Results Management", "Liquidation" "Acquisition and signature activity". He has successfully managed many projects, both for Bulgaria and internationally. 

He joins the company’s  team as Head of the Foreign Markets and Methodology, Quality and Performance Management Department. Since July 2021 he has been a member of the Management Board of Lev Ins Insurance Company and is responsible for the Business Intelligence and Operations Division. 

Marin Dimitrov will work for the future development of the company, which is a leader in the cyber insurance in Bulgaria, expanding to the foreign market, where cyber-focused companies are sought after and preferred by many customers.

Currently, the company has offices in 7 European countries - Italy, Romania, Poland, Spain, Greece, Croatia and Cyprus. It is expected to have offices in at least 15 countries by the end of the year. 

Lev Ins is the 16th biggest endangered insurance company in Southeast Europe, according to SEE NEWS for 2021, climbing the rankings for the fifth consecutive year.
